Testing
services are provided as a service to both students
and the public. In 2007 over 4300 people used our
testing services. Some wanted to earn college credit
by examination through CLEP;
some missed the scheduled ACT
times and needed to take the ACT
Residual; others needed to take various
exams in order to enter graduate school or teacher-preparation
programs. Still others are taking correspondence
courses and must be tested to complete the work.
If
you need a test, and we don't give it, we can put
you in contact with the people who do. The test
calendar is published annually, and is updated
routinely as additional dates are known.
Links
to related sites, such as Internet registration,
are provided from the calendar, and/or specific
test pages. Information about popular tests which
we do not give (including GRE, GMAT, MCAT,
SAT, Academic
Profile, and Regents PEP), and links to
the responsible agency are provided where possible.
The
following tests are administered by Testing Services:
CLEP (College Level Examination
Program), MAT (Miller Analogies
Test), ACT Residual, GRE Subject Tests
(Graduate Record Examination Subject Tests), LSAT (Law School Admission Test), PCAT
(Pharmacy College Admissions Test), CHES
(Certified Health Education Specialist), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), and PRAXIS
Series (National Teacher Examinations): PPST,
