Jonathan Dlouhy As Principal Oboe of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Jonathan Dlouhy was featured as soloist with the ASO many times, in works by Bach, Mozart, Strauss, Vaughan Williams, and others. His most recent solo appearance was performing the Richard Strauss Oboe Concerto in April, 1999. Mr. Dlouhy joined the ASO as one of its youngest members in 1979, having
previously played Principal Oboe in the Akron and Canton, Ohio, Symphonies, and having served as

Christopher Weait is professor emeritus of bassoon at The Ohio StateUniversity in Columbus where he taught from 1984 to 2006. He was twice honored by students at the School of Music: in 1999 they voted him “Distinguished Teacher of the Year” and in 2006, Sigma Alpha Iota named him a National Arts Associate. He has been a visiting professor at the Eastman School of Music and the Indiana
University School of Music and has taught in Argentina, Chile and Canada. Prior to teaching at Ohio State he was principal bassoonist of
