Local History

Delta Zeta initiated and installed the Iota Iota chapter at Middle Tennessee State University on April 26, 1969. There were 39 collegiates and 3 alumne initiates that received their pins during the ceremonies.

Iota Iota was formed from a local sorority known as Delta Phi Gamma, which began October 11, 1966 and became a Belta Zeta Colony on January 22, 1969. On their day of initiation, the Iota Iota chapter wore their rose and green dresses with a DZ monogram.
