First Steps for 2+2 Students

1.    Apply to MTSU:  http://www.mtsu.edu/applynow/.  Complete all steps that apply to you – Financial Aid, Housing, etc. See the Transfer checklist for more information.

2.    Once you are admitted, complete the online transfer orientation:  http://ucdb.mtsu.edu/transfer/

3.    Items that must be completed are your A.S.T. degree and passing Praxis I (PPST) scores (exemptions from taking Praxis I are having an ACT composite score of 22 or higher or having a SAT score of 1020 or higher).

4.    Attend the 2 + 2 Orientation or meet with Dr. Terri Tharp, 615-494-7633, Terri.Tharp@mtsu.edu, who is the faculty advisor for all 2+2 students to outline your program of study.  Your registration time will be set after this meeting.

 5.    Buy Tk20:  Buy TK20: Go to the MTSU A-Z index-select P for Phillips Bookstore-select textbooks (left-hand side)-scroll down on textbook page-see books-see textbooks & course materials link under the textbooks>select by course page-Select department-change to TK20 & submit-add to cart-go to checkout.  You will need Tk20 to apply to Teacher Education.
