January 20 | Tucker Theatre | 2:00 p.m.
FREED VOICES - a concert featuring choreography and performance by African American choreographers and dancers.
Moderated by Dr. Maura Keefe
Admission price is $10/person; MTSU students free with valid ID

January 21 | Discovery Center | 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Community service project - a unity project with a goal to create a connection with Murfreesboro youth through service and education of Dr. King's legacy.
MTSU student organizations will be participating

January 21 | KUC Theatre | 6:00 p.m.
MLK Candlelight Vigil - the official kickoff of Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Week will feature worship leaders from Hillel, the Wesley Foundation, and First Baptist Church who will reflect on King's legacy and how it relates to today's society.
Sponsored by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Office of Intercultural & Diversity Affairs.

January 23 | KUC - 2nd Floor | 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Voteless People is a Hopeless People - NAACP members will be registering students to vote and will provide information on the voting process.
Sponsored by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the MTSU chapter of the NAACP.
MLK Display - chronicles the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Sponsored by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity; donations will be accepted for the National MLK Memorial being constructed in Washington, D.C.

January 23 | Murfreesboro Skating Complex | 7:00 p.m.
Skating for Justice - enjoy a great time skating while living out the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. which is unity regardless of nationality or race.

January 25 | Mitchell Neilson Elementary School | 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Community Day Service Program - in accordance with the teachings of Dr. King, this program is designed to give back and to improve the lives of members of the community.
Various Greek and other student organizations will engage in community service and service learning activities throughout the day at this school.

January 27 | First Baptist Church | 1:30 p.m.
College Sunday - the grand finale of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Week is a musical that connects many local churches and other organizations. The MTSU Gospel Choir will perform with area choirs.
Various Greek and other student organizations will engage in community service and service learning activities throughout the day at this school.
