Red Room

children in Red RoomThe Red Room is the program for the oldest children at the Ann Campbell Early Learning Center where friends concentrate on learning to use the potty on a regular basis. They have many, many words that they are able to use to ask, answer, or address questions. In the Red Room, these almost three-year-olds learn about cause and effect, to expand dramatic play, and to share with others. They learn to be artists using all kinds of mediums, try new "exotic" foods such as dried raspberries and bananas, to climb, and to ride tricycles. They begin to understand a verity of concepts such as opposites and rhymes and begin to explore their environment as much as is possible. Red Room friends are wise and funny and have many charming ideas about how to get what they want. We are really sad when they turn three and must leave the Ann Campbell Early Learning Center.
