  • Dr. Jo Edwards, Adams Chair of Excellence in Health Care Services, visited with the president of Kuwait University, Dr. Abdul Latif Al Bader and Vice President Dr. Hussain Al Mahmoud, in Kuwait this summer to discuss developing partnerships with MTSU's Center for Health and Human Services and Kuwait University. Dr. Edwards was a founding faculty member of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences in the Kuwait University Health Science Center in 1983. In addition to having a $250,000 contract with KU which she brought to MTSU when she came here, she has continued her work with KU over the years through consulting, on site and distance support.
