Tyler Henson

My name is Tyler Henson, Transfer Enrollment Coordinator here at Middle Tennessee State University. I am a proud two-time graduate of MTSU, long-time resident of the city of Murfreesboro, and True Blue Raider!

I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and briefly ventured out into the working world. It didn’t take long before I realized I loved being in higher education and wanted to pursue a career in the field, so I came back to my alma mater. I had the privilege of working in the Office of New Student and Family Programs with the CUSTOMS orientation program as a graduate assistant until I received my Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Supervision in 2008. I then worked as an academic advisor on campus for five years before moving over to the wonderful world of Admissions!

Today I am tasked with helping recruit and enroll transfer students to MTSU. I love this university and think it has so much to offer, with a variety of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and services for all types of students. I am here to help transfer students understand the process for coming to MTSU and make their transition easy. MTSU has done so much for me in my life and career, and I believe it can do the same for you! Just ask me how!
