Cathy Lower

Hi, I’m Cathy Lower, an associate director in the Admissions Office. Though I have more than 17 years experience in higher education, I have only been at MTSU for a little more than three years. But I have come to love MTSU – especially our students! We really are like a big family here on campus.

I oversee the University’s I’m one! program. We currently have 118 students from all different majors, backgrounds, and education levels. These special students travel with the Admissions personnel to events around the state and right here on campus, telling prospective students and their families what MTSU is like from a student’s perspective. Some other duties of mine involve planning off-campus recruitment events, overseeing residency for incoming students, and the development of all the Admissions publications.

But most importantly, I am here for you. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to be of service to you. I am happy to help in any way I can.
