Mr. Hill earned his B.S., in Journalism and Industrial Arts, Texas A & M University, Kingsville, and was a Distinguished Military Graduate, 1967. In 1974 he received his M.Ed., in Aerospace Education, at MTSU. Since joining the faculty as an adjunct in 1989, he became a full time professor in 1991. Mr. Hill has served as the Director of the Tennessee Aerospace Education Workshops and is currently the Coach of the MTSU Flight Team, The Flying Raiders. In 1992, he was named flight team "Coach of the Year" for Region 8, of the National Intercollegiate Flight Association. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Executive Committee of the National Intercollegiate Flying Association. In 1994, he received one of MTSU's "Outstanding Teacher of the Year" awards. Additionally, he was named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers in both 1994 and 2000. Mr. Hill belongs to a number of professional organizations and has served on a number of committees at MTSU. His current area of specialty is Aerospace Administration and Transportation Management.
MTSU Aerospace has been accredited since 1992. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) has accredited all five of the Aerospace concentrations!  For more information, click here.

To apply for a flight lab, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Download and read the Additional Information Packet thoroughly and review the additional costs of flight labs.

Step 2:
Print and read the “Lab Request Form” for the semester you wish to enroll in a flight lab. Sign and submit it to the flight school secretary within the application period specified. Neither early nor late submissions will be accepted or considered.
