Paul Mosey joined the faculty at Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, as a temporary assistant professor. He holds both rotor and fixed wing Air Transport Pilot licenses and is typed rated in the CH-53, H206 and J3200 model aircraft. Mr. Mosey earned his undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College and a Masters of Aerospace Education from MTSU. Mr. Mosey was an American Connection regional airline captain for four years and is a former U.S Marine pilot and instructor, flying the CH-53 Sea Stallion and CH-57 Jet Ranger helicopters for 10 years. He is the coach for the MTSU flight and lacrosse teams. He is pursuing an Ed.S degree and plans to complete an Ed.D.

Accreditation

MTSU Aerospace had been accredited since 1992. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) has accredited all five of the Aerospace concentrations! For more information, click here.

Flight Labs

To apply for a flight lab, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Download and read the Additional Information Packet thoroughly and review the additional costs of flight labs.

Step 2:
Print and read the “Lab Request Form” for the semester you wish to enroll in a flight lab. Sign and submit it to the flight school secretary within the application period specified. Neither early nor late submissions will be accepted or considered.

Fall Lab Request Form Application Period: February 1 – July 15

Spring Lab Request Form Application Period: September 1 – Nov 15

Summer Lab Request Form Application Period: February 1 – April 15
