Recognized student organizations in aerospace are Alpha Eta Rho, International Aviation Fraternity (co-ed), Flying Raiders, intercollegiate competitive flight team, AERO Maintenance Club of MTSU, aircraft maintenance organization, Future Airport Executives (FAE), student chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives, Women in Aviation student chapter of Women in Aviation International, the Air Traffic Control Organization (ATCO), and Legacy.

Accreditation

Flight Labs

To apply for a flight lab, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Download and read the Additional Information Packet thoroughly and review the additional costs of flight labs.

Step 2:
Print and read the “Lab Request Form” for the semester you wish to enroll in a flight lab. Sign and submit it to the flight school secretary within the application period specified. Neither early nor late submissions will be accepted or considered.

Fall Lab Request Form Application Period: February 1 – July 15

Spring Lab Request Form Application Period: September 1 – Nov 15

Summer Lab Request Form Application Period: February 1 – April 15
