Paul A. Craig has 11 FAA Flight Certificates, including the Airline
Transport Pilot, and the Gold Seal Multiengine and Instrument
Flight Instructor Certificate. Craig is a previous winner of the
North Carolina and Tennessee Flight Instructor of the Year award,
and the NCVT Outstanding Teacher award. He is an FAA Aviation
Safety Counselor, and has served as the regional representative of
the National Air and Space Museum. He works with the United
Airlines Flight Officer Internship program, the Atlantic Southeast
Airlines program, and the Corporate Airlines program. Craig is the
author of six books published by McGraw Hill including:
Pilot in Command, Multiengine Flying, Light Airplane Navigation
Essentials, Stalls and Spins, and Be a Better Pilot. He has
written over a dozen articles for national aviation magazines such
as:
Plane & Pilot, Air Progress, and Private Pilot. Craig
speaks around the Southeastern United States at Pilot Proficiency
Programs and Flight Instructor Refresher Clinics. He earned the
Specialist in Education degree in 1995 and the Doctor of Education
degree in 1998.
