Steve obtained a B.S. in Aerospace in 1990, M.Ed. in Aerospace Education in 1994, and an Ed.S in Administration and Supervision in 1995. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Peabody College. He holds an Airframe and Powerplant Technician Certificate with Inspection Authorization and is also a current pilot.

Steve began teaching at MTSU as an adjunct faculty member in 1990. He joined the full time faculty in 1992 and is currently an Assistant Professor teaching in the Maintenance Management Program.

MTSU Aerospace has been accredited since 1992. The Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) has accredited all five of the Aerospace concentrations!  For more information, click here.

To apply for a flight lab, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Download and read the Additional Information Packet thoroughly and review the additional costs of flight labs.

Step 2:
Print and read the “Lab Request Form” for the semester you wish to enroll in a flight lab. Sign and submit it to the flight school secretary within the application period specified. Neither early nor late submissions will be accepted or considered.
