Middle Tennessee State University Health and Human Performance Department and MTSU Performing Arts Company are making history on campus. We are hosting a national dance conference called the Black College Dance Exchange (BCDE) April 9-12, 2009.Traditionally BCDE is hosted by a Historically Black College/University (HBCU).MTSU is making history by being the first non-HBCU to host the conference.BCDE is an annual conference whose focus is exclusively educational. This conference allows students and professionals from different colleges and universities to present research, learn from professionals in the field of dance, and have the opportunity to audition for scholarships and professional companies.
