RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Biological dinitrogen fixation in legumes and free-living cyanobacteria. Water stress physiology in plants and cyanobacteria.

PUBLICATION RECORD:
Author/co-author on 14 peer-reviewed papers, published in American Journal of Botany, Aquatic Botany, Applied &Environmental Microbiology, Canadian Journal of Microbiology, Plant & Soil, American Midland Naturalist, Prairie Naturalist, and Crop Science. Author/co-author of 3 books/manuals. Author/co-author of over 20 papers presented at regional, national, and international scientific meetings.

GRADUATE PROGRAM ROLE:
Teaches graduate level courses

Faculty consulting editor of the electronic journal SCIENTIA.
