Arachnid systematics, distribution, and ecology; Graduate student research.

Author and co-author of 25 papers and abstracts; Presented 27 papers and seminars.

American Arachnology Society (Charter Member), Society of Sigma Xi, Association of Southeastern Biologists, Tennessee Academy of Science (Fellow and Life Member).

COURSES TAUGHT AT MTSU:
Entomology, Invertebrate Zoology, Evolution, Biological Literature, General Biology (major and non-major).

GRADUATE PROGRAM ROLE:
Teaches graduate courses. Serves as thesis research advisor for M.S. students and serves on the thesis committee of others.
