Work Study Jobs In addition to awards and scholarships, the department participates in the campus work study and work scholarship programs administered through the Office of Financial Aid. Tuition is paid under the work scholarship program and the student is obligated for five hours of work per week. Under the work study program, students work up to 20 hours per week at an hourly rate. The department also has a small fund through which students are hired by the department at an hourly rate. All interested individuals should contact the Biology Department Office in Davis Science Building, Room 128, or call (615) 898-2847.
Graduate Teaching Assistants Teaching assistantships are available to students who show academic promise and potential as effective students.
