- Trip to the Hawaiian Islands
The Biology Department provides a unique summer course for Tennessee teachers every
June. Teachers have the opportunity to study coral reefs, temperate rain forests,
alpine deserts and other habitats of the Hawaiian Islands. For more information, contact

- Gulf Coast Research Laboratory
The department cooperates with a number of other universities to provide low cost
opportunities for summer graduate study at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory (GCRL)
in Mississippi. For details inquire in the departmental office or review the GCRL web site.
