SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Due to the "space availability" rule, the reduced rate will not be applied for classes selected and/or held during priority registration.
Class selection for permanently disabled students participating in the reduced rate program is during late registration each semester. Late registration begins on the first day of class for the Fall/Spring semesters, and on the first day of class for each individual session during the Summer semester. The late registration fee will be waived.
Permanently disabled students participating in this program may audit classes without tuition charges, or register for classes for credit by paying a service fee not to exceed $70.00. The student is responsible for paying for material, online, distance education and special course fees.
The applicant must be eligible for admission, and an application fee of $25.00 is required.
Proof of disability must be submitted to the MTSU Office of Disabled Student Services.
A separate form, obtained from the MTSU Office of Disabled Student Services, is required for each semester, and must be submitted in person during late registration fee payment at the Middle Tennessee State University, Business Office, Room 103, in the Cope Administration Building. Fees will be adjusted at this time.
If you have any questions regarding the permanently disabled reduced rate program, please contact the MTSU Office of Disabled Student Services at (615) 898-2783.
