W, Andrew Adams
Andy Adams received a B.S. in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 1968. He has worked with National HealthCare Corporation since 1972. He was founder of the Murfreesboro based National HealthCare L.P. and National Health Investors, Inc., a real estate investment trust that owns many of National HealthCare's properties.
Mr. Adams serves on the Board of Directors of SunTrust Bank of Tennessee, David Lipscomb University and the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Elder at his church.
Andy Adams and former Senator Andy Womack co-chaired the first Memory Walk to benefit local Alzheimer's patients.
Mr. Adams has been a part of MTSU through personal, family and corporate donations including support for two chairs of excellence, Project HELP Fund, Blue Raider Athletic Association and the John Bragg Leadership Scholarship. He is a member of the MTSU President's Advisory Council.
