Andy Womack
Andy Womack is about public service and business. From an infantry sergeant in Vietnam to President of MTSU Foundation, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro to an Ambassador Life Producer for 25 consecutive years and 2004 President’s Club for attaining top 30 standing in mutual funds sales with State Farm.
Andy is married for 37 years to Cherry, who is an MTSU graduate, and father to David, daughter-in-law Cheryl, and daughter Dana, all MTSU graduates.
He served 12 years in the Tennessee State Senate and during his last year in the Senate was chairman of the Education Committee where he sponsored the Education Improvement Act of 1992 that rewrote all the K-12 statues for Tennessee Public schools.
