New Computers for Labs and Master Classrooms

We have installed new DELL Ultra Small Form Factor computers in the Business Computer Lab and several master classrooms. In addition to making the computer case smaller, it reduces the amount of heat generated inside, leading to a cooler, quieter PC and more student's workspace.

GoPrint Stations

GoPrint Systems specializes in providing state-of-the-art, Multi-Platform, Self-Service, Print Management. This system is now available in our main lab. We have installed four new GoPrint touch screen print stations.

The new GoPrint system provides several benefits:

• Reduced Paper Waste: GoPrint has helped save 307,113 sheets of paper which is approx.16% of the total number of pages that were printed until May 15, 2007.
• Reduced Student Wait Time:Students can now pick their printouts from any GoPrint station in the lab.

New Software and CAD Printer Available

The 24/7 Business Computer Lab now has AutoCAD available for students to use in the BAS S137F room. Also available is a brand new HP DesignJet CAD color plotter.

Coming Soon to a PC near you - Microsoft Office 2007

We are currently in t he process of upgrading from Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007 in all the lab PCs and Master Classroom PCs. We hope to accomplish this by Fall 2007.
