How to access the internet from home?
There are several ways you can access the internet from home:
- Use a FREE Internet Service Providers . There are no subscription fees or hidden costs, it's totally free. You have to tolerate a window with ads and no connection speed guaranties. They have local access numbers for Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, etc.
- Using a local Internet Service Provider . Locate all the providers in your area by using The List, a national list of ISPs. MTSU offers and special program through MCI Campus option.
- Dial-Up Slirp Connection for Window 95.This is not officially supported by MTSU, but you might want to give it a try...it is free.
The last two are only available if you have an valid account with MTSU, otherwise
refer to the first point in the list.
