How do I change my password?
If you know your current password, login to frank using Terminal or Telnet. At the prompt, type
passwd
and follow the instructions. Wait 10 minutes for the change to take effect.

If you don't know your password, go to http://www.mtsu.edu/changepw
How do I set Auto Responder for my email?
Auto responder will automatically reply to all your emails when you are not able to check them (i.e. when you are out for vacation).
To start/stop Auto responder:
- Login to Frank using Terminal or Telnet.
- At the prompt, type: autoresponder
- Select "Turn Auto Responder On" if want to start auto responder
- Select "Turn Auto Responder Off" if want to stop auto responder
- Select "Quit"
The changes will take effect in 1 hour.
How to forward my emails to another address?
This feature will automatically forward all emails from your frank account to an email address you specify. This is useful when you have a preferred email besides the MTSU email (i.e. hotmail, msn, AOL).
To start forwarding emails:
- Login to Frank using Terminal or Telnet.
- At the prompt, type autoresponder
- Select "Edit forward file"
- Enter the email address where you want to forward your emails
- Press CTRL-X
- Select "Quit"
To stop forwarding emails:
- Login to Frank using Terminal or Telnet.
- At the prompt, type autoresponder
- Select "Edit forward file"
- Delete the email address
- Press CTRL-X
- Select "Quit"
