Sports Clubs

One of the main questions we get is "What is the difference between sports clubs and intramural sports?" Here's the quick answer: Intramural sports are short-term competitions among MTSU students, faculty, and staff. Sports Clubs are longer-term commitments (usually per school year), include travel to other schools for competitions, and are led by club officers.

Bass Fishing

We fish UTC tournament Trail, FLW, and Cabelas Collegiate Bass Fishing Events. We typically drive to the lake the day before the event to get some practice time, then we go out for supper together. There will always be a hotel provided and gas will be reimbursed within a few weeks. For any interest or questions feel free to contact Austin and Matt.

Clay Target

The Clay Target Club of MTSU is a club dedicated to the promotion of the shooting sports on the collegiate level. Our goal is to generate competitions among TN universities and surrounding states in the hope that we can put MTSU on the map in the clay target arena. If you like the challenge of busting clay targets, then we have the club for you. If you would like to learn to shoot trap, skeet, sporting clay or any of the clays target sports, we can help you. If you have a competitive spirit and would like to shoot against Kentucky, UT Martin and other collegiate teams, then you're looking in the right direction.
