Communication

Learning Goal:
     Students will be effective communicators of complex business analyses.
Learning Objectives:
1.  Students will use tools, analyses, and exhibits to effectively explain and discuss solutions to comprehensive
     business cases and/or problems.
     Assessment course to be determined.

Business Environment and Multicultural Understanding

Learning Goal:
     Students will be able to identify and understand the external factors affecting the business environment and their
     impact on organizations.
Learning Objectives:
2.  Students will demonstrate an understanding of the impact of current events on business decisions.
     Measured in MGMT 6650.
3.  Students will demonstrate an understanding of the role cultural background and global environment play
     in business decisions.
     Global environment component measured in ECON 6000.
     Cultural background component measured in MGMT 6600.
4.  Students will apply relevant ethical concepts in complex business situations.
     Measured in MGMT 6600.
5.  Students will demonstrate an understanding of the relationships among the functional areas of business in
     addressing management decision problems.
     Measured in BUAD 6980.

Critical Analysis and Decision Making

Learning Goal:
     Students will be able to solve complex business problems by developing a sound analysis of relevant factors.
Learning Objectives:
6.  Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze data and generate potential alternatives to business problems.
     Measured in BUAD 6980.
7.  Students will demonstrate the ability to make well supported decisions in multiple objective/constraint environments.
     Measured in MKT 6800.
8.  Students will be able to model a business situation and use the model to analyze and suggest appropriate
     managerial action.
     Measured in QM 6770.
