RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive Aide for the college provides secretarial and clerical support to the dean of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences and to the director for the Master of Science in Professional Science degree program.  She also provides assistance to the Executive Secretary, college advisors, and the MSPS program coordinators.  She is responsible for assisting with the coordination and planning of special events and projects in the college, as well as coordinating and assisting with the MSPS internship presentations, the MSPS budget, monitoring the MSPS web page, assisting students and maintaining student files.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Ms. Feagans began working at Middle Tennessee State University in 1993 and received her bachelor’s degree from MTSU in 2003. While in school her major emphasis was jewelry/silversmithing, with minors in social work, graphic design, book arts, letterpress, and computer art. She achieved the following honors while in college: dean’s list for nine semesters, MTSU Achievement Award Winner, MTSU Provost Award Finalist representing the College of Liberal Arts, NADE National Student of the Year, Chi Alpha Epsilon order of the Diamond Key-three times, order of the Emerald Key-two times, order of the Ruby Key-two times, Who’s Who Among American College Students, and TNADE State student of the year. Linda was inducted into the following societies: Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Mortar Board Honor Society, Chi Alpha Epsilon President 3 years, Pinnacle Vice-President, Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, OWLS scholarship recipient, National Art Education Association, and Golden Key Honor Society. Before coming to CBAS, she served as secretary/receptionist in the College of Graduate Studies.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Ms. Feagans married David Feagans, her high school sweetheart, in 1972. The couple has three children, Angelic “Lin”, an MTSU grad, Jennifer “Lin” (Feagans) Thompson, an APSU grad, and Christopher David, an MTSU graduate. They have two grandchildren, Christopher David, Jr. and Eva Marie Thompson.  Ms. Feagans is one of four survivors of the 1984 Legionnaires’ epidemic in Illinois that claimed 65 lives. Linda enjoys designing jewelry, silversmithing, craft shows, music, Stampin’ Up, scrapbooking, collecting bears, and operating her letterpress.
