RESPONSIBILITIES
The Executive Secretary to the Dean is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative and secretarial support to the office of the Dean. The Executive Secretary serves as a resource to the ten reporting departments within the College and is also responsible for researching policies, procedures and guidelines, overseeing work presented from chair's for accuracy, preparation and monitoring budgets, coordination and planning special events and projects.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Before coming to MTSU, Ms. Bleam spent approximately 17 years in progressive administrative support positions including David Youree Elementary, the Capital Region Community Foundation, The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, and MidAmerica Nazarene University. Ms. Bleam began as the executive secretary to the dean of Basic & Applied Sciences in March, 2007. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Ms. Bleam is married to Dale Bleam who is the director of sales for Word Entertainment in Nashville, Tennessee. He also serves as the part-time choir director for World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro. They have two children. Hannah is in the 7th grade, and Sarah is in the 5th grade. Their family enjoys walking, camping, and playing with their dog, Pepper.
