RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties of the grants technical clerk are to maintain and reconcile grant and match account budget expenditures; place orders and receive invoices; initiate cost transfers, salary redistributions, payment authorizations, travel claims and other types of forms as needed; maintain correspondence files and financial records; and serve as a resource to the Dean, PI’s and ORS.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
While her children were growing up, Rose attended MTSU on a part-time basis and worked
in the family business. She graduated from MTSU in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree
in Business Administration. She began her employment at MTSU in 2006.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Rose is married to Tim Johnson. Tim is an area manager at Nissan. They have 3 children:
Chelsey-21, Chase-20 and Chaney-16. In her free time, Rose enjoys reading, sewing,
cooking, traveling and most of all, spending time with her family.
