The ESL Enterprise Project is a collaborative professional development grant funded by the Office of English Language Acquisition, U.S. Department of Education.

Two On-site Curriculum Institutes

The ESL Enterprise Project will enable participants to take part in On-site Curriculum Institutes which will focus on individual needs of ESL populations in Bedford, Rutherford, and Warren Counties. Example session focus topics may include:

  • Needs of Newly Arriving Immigrant Students
  • Celebrating Diversity in Multilingual Classrooms
  • Literacy and Young Learners;
  • Learning in Two Languages
  • On-site Curriculum Institutes will take place at a designated location within the participating counties. All participants will receive a stipend for attending each institute.
