CEBS Advising Home

Welcome to the College of Education and Behavioral Science Advising Center.  One of our goals is to promote successful transitions for students who wish to pursue academic majors with the College.  Academic advising is the best way to select and enroll in the appropriate courses for a chosen major.  In addition, students are introduced to leadership opportunities through University-wide creative and social activities,  The Advising Center encourages a sense of community and ownership for students through early referral to faculty advisors, departmental and professional organizations and MTSU academic support services.

There are two College Advisors who assist students in the transition process.
  • Those with last names that begin with A through L are invited to visit the Center location in Jones Hall, Room 111.
    Phone: 615-898-5153
  • Those whose last names begin with M through Z are invited to visit the Center location in Jones Hall, Room 117.
    Phone: 615-898-5086

All students are welcomed and encouraged to discover methods for academic success and to learn about opportunities that will enrich the college experience!

Plan for success: declaring a major or minor
When visiting the Centers, students will have an opportunity to

  • ask specific questions about degree requirements,
