Master of Science in Information Systems (General IS)

The graduate concentration in Security and Assurance prepares students for careers in many aspects of information systems security. The following courses are required.

Required Courses

  • INFS6710 IT Systems Development Project Management
  • INFS6790 Seminar in Database Management
  • BIA 6905 Applied Business Analytics
  • INFS6980 Information Systems Practicum

Elective Courses

  • Twelve hours of approved INFS at the 6000 level
  • Six hours of approved INFS at the 5000 or 6000 level

 

Master of Science in Information Systems (Business Intelligence & Analytics)

Required Courses

  • INFS 6710 - IT Systems Dev. Project Management
  • INFS 6790 - Seminar in Database Management
  • INFS 6980 - Information Systems Practicum
  • BIA 6905 - Applied Business Analytics

Concentration Courses

  • BIA 6910 - Business Intelligence
  • BIA 6920 - Data Mining and Predictive Analytics 
  • INFS 6810 - Big Data for Analytics

Elective Courses

Master of Science in Information Systems with a Concentration in Security and Assurance
