Center Overview

 Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is a rapidly growing university. With over 27,000 undergraduates, it is the largest undergraduate institution in the State of Tennessee. The main campus occupies over 500 acres and the university has three other campuses nearby, each with over 500 acres, for future expansion. While historically a teaching university, MTSU now has 8 Ph.D. Programs and has dramatically expanded its research capabilities. The Center for Molecular Biosciences services faculty from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, has state of the art instrumentation and offers multiple research laboratories, which are adaptable to the needs of the various research programs of the faculty.
