Jenna has applied experience in various areas of Human Resources (HR). As an HR intern at Textron Aviation, she gained experience conducting performance evaluations and managing talent pipelines, international sourcing, and performance improvement plans.
Additionally, in the commercial retail industry, Jenna gained experience working as an intern in the HR department of GTM Sportswear. In her role, she was responsible for recruiting, screening applicants, creating contingent job offers, communicating with hiring managers, creating applicant flow, and aiding in the rollout of a new learning management program for the company.
Her undergraduate research interests included escalation of commitment, goal orientation and metacognition. She has presented her research at several conferences, including the Kansas State University Undergraduate Psychology Research Convocation, the annual Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) conference in Anaheim, CA, and in 2017 at the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) in Dublin, Ireland. Jenna's upcoming research will be presented at the Society for Judgement and Decision Making conference in Vancouver, Canada in November 2017.
In May 2017, Jenna received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Kansas State University. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master's Program at Middle Tennessee State University.
