Dr. Moffett is a Senior Consultant for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource
Effectiveness with over 25 years of experience with private and public sector organizations.
He has also served as a past Director of COHRE.
His areas of consulting expertise include leadership development, small and large group facilitation, management training, and organizational diagnosis and development. He has worked with clients from a variety of including the Rutherford County Department of Human Resources, Kroll Background Screening Division, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Sverdrup Technology, Inc., Nuclear Fuel Services, Centerstone Community Mental Health Centers, Teledyne, and Middle Tennessee State University.
In addition to consulting with COHRE, he is an Associate Professor of Psychology and serves as Interim Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). While at MTSU, he has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses in training and development, organizational change and development, organizational psychology, and group dynamics. He received his Ph.D. in industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology from Auburn University in 1996.
His professional experience before coming to MTSU in 1992 was as a Project Associate with the Office of Vice President for Outreach at Auburn University where he worked as an internal and external human resources consultant. Also, he worked as a Research Psychologist with Litton Computer Services where he developed and evaluated various training programs for the United States Army at Fort Benning, GA.
