Welcome
There has been a restructuring of the colleges at Middle Tennessee State University.
Communication Disorders is now under the Health and Human Performance Department,
which is in the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences. However, we are keeping
our current location, which is BDA 232.
The Communication Disorders concentration includes areas of knowledge designated
by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Specialized courses are appropriately
sequenced to meet prerequisites, to encourage progress in academic course work, to
build a foundation for enrollment in clinical practicum and the development of clinical
application skills, and to prepare students for graduate level professional education.
For more information about Communication Disorders, call any of the faculty at (615)
