The Office of Compliance is committed to the humane care and use of all animals used for teaching and research at the university. Historically many advances in science resulted from animal research and animals continue to play an integral part of scientific research. It is important for researchers to realize that healthy research animals maintained in a stable environment is essential for quality research. Compliance is necessary in promoting our research efforts and by working together, the highest quality of animal research will be promoted.
