Anyone wishing to apply to a graduate school that accepts or requires the MAT as an
admission examination can take the MAT. The MAT is computerized, and is administered
by appointment only in Keathley University Center, room 327.
Visitor parking passes may be obtained by calling the Testing Services Office at 615-898-2863.
Please note that these passes are used for Green parking spaces only.
Items required at testing appointment:
- Unexpired driver's license
- Social Security card
There are 120 questions and the test is timed at 60 minutes. Score is based on the
number of questions answered correctly. The graduate office of the school to attend
can interpret scores.

An unofficial score report will be available after testing. Expect official MAT results
within 2 to 3 weeks via U.S. mail. You may contact Pearson at 800-622-3231. Study
materials may be obtained at various bookstores and also at www.kaptest.com and www.milleranalogies.com .
Additional Information:
- The cost per test is $80.00.
- This test can be retaken as many times as you want.
