Major in Criminal Justice Admin.

Requirements for 120-hour Criminal Justice Administration major include the following:

1. 41 hours of General Education requirements consisting of :
   
   A. Communication - 9 hours
   B. Humanities - 9 hours
   C. History - 6 hours
   D. Social/behavioral Sciences - 6 hours
   E. Natural Sciences - 8 hours
   F. Mathematics - 3 hours
2. 13 hours of general electives (requires CJA advisor approval)
3. 18 hours for minor (if minor requires more than 18 hours, adjustment will be made within the general electives)
4. 18 hours of required CJA core courses: CJA 1100, 2200, 2400, 2600, 3200, 3400 (Grade must be higher than a C-)

30 hours from one of the following programs to complete the CJA major:

1. B.S. degree in Criminal Justice
   1. 30 hours (as advised) from the following: CJA 2900, 3220, 3230, 3250, 3450, 3500, 3630, 3700, 3750, 3900, 4220, 4260, 4300, 4330, 4340, 4500, 4530, 4750, 4800, 4850, 4860, 4870, 4900, PSY 4120 or 4220
2. B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice with Law Enforcement concentration
   1. 15 hours from the following: CJA 2900, 3230, 3250, 4220, 4260, 4330, 4340, 4350
   2. Guided major electives - 15 hours from 3220, 3450, 3500, 3630, 3700, 3750, 3900, 4300, 4500, 4750, 4800, 4850, 4860, 4870, 4900, PSY 4120 or 4220
3. B.S. degree in Criminal Justice with Homeland Security concentration
   1. 9 hours required: CJA 3750, 4850, and 4870
   2. 6 hours from the following: CJA 3250, 3900, 4330, or 4860
   3. Guided major electives - 15 hours from 2900, 3220, 3230, 3450, 3500, 3630, 3700, 4220, 4260, 4300, 4340, 4500, 4530, 4750, 4800, 4900, PSY 4120 or 4220
