Scholarships


The following is a summary of the scholarships that are offered by the Criminal Justice Department. Applications are available for all three scholarships in the Criminal Justice Office located at 1421 E. Main Street.

Criminal Justice Endowed Scholarship  - Established by the Tennessee Juvenile Court Services Association

1. The applicant must be a resident of the state of Tennessee and a full-time student.

2. The applicant must be pursuing a degree in the field of Criminal Justice or Criminology.

3. The applicant must have intent and the professional potential to pursue a career in the juvenile justice profession.

4. The applicant must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

5.  The applicant must be at least a rising junior in the Criminal Justice Administration undergraduate program.

6. This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded.

Frank Lee Criminal Justice Scholarship

1. Recipient must be a resident of the state of Tennessee and a full-time student.

2. Recipient must be at least a rising junior or senior majoring in Criminal Justice Administration.

3. Recipient must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average.

4. Recipient must document financial need through the MTSU Financial Aid Office.

5. This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded.

R.B.J. Campbelle, Jr. Scholarship

1. The applicant must be a resident of the state of Tennessee and a full-time student.

2. The applicant must be pursuing a degree in the field of Criminal Justice Administration.

3. The applicant must be a rising junior or senior in the Criminal Justice Administration program.

4. This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded.
