Courses in the MTSU Criminal Justice Administration Department provide a well-rounded curriculum designed to meet the academic needs of students interested in criminal justice careers (including law enforcement, courts, corrections, and homeland security) as well as for persons already employed in the criminal justice system and related agencies.
A major in Criminal Justice Administration offers a foundation in liberal arts, a deep and broad knowledge of criminal justice, and an educational background uniquely tailored for each individual. Students majoring in Criminal Justice may choose either a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice or a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement or Homeland Security.
The department also offers a minor in Criminal Justice Administration and a minor in Homeland Security for non-CJA majors.
