Roles of the Officers:

President: The President shall serve as the chief executive officer of Ridin' Raiders and convene all meetings of the organization. The President shall appoint all members to committees. The President shall hold ex-officio membership on all committees. The President shall preside at Executive Council meetings. The President shall represent Ridin' Raiders s at various campus events to promote Ridin' Raiders and advocate for the needs of commuter students at MTSU.

Vice-President for Membership: The Vice-President of Membership shall maintain the records of membership and send notice to members for renewal of their membership each year. The Vice-President of Membership shall also communicate with the membership through newsletters and other communications about the social events and other activities planned for the membership. The Vice-President for Membership shall, in absence of the President, perform the duties of the President of Ridin' Raiders.

Vice-President for Fund Raising: The Vice-President for Fund Raising shall design and implement fund raising activities to increase the funds for Ridin' Raiders' activities and projects. These activities may include, but are not limited to: sales; contribution campaigns; outside vendors working for a percentage; and solicitations.

Vice-President for Service Projects: The Vice-President for Service Projects shall plan service opportunities where Ridin' Raiders members may participate. This shall include, but not be limited to, the Christmas Angel Tree children, Habitat for Humanity, food drives, etc.

Vice-President for Advocacy: The Vice-President for Advocacy shall work with the Executive Council to identify issues of concern to commuter students that need to be presented to the University administration. The Vice-President for Advocacy shall plan the strategy for presentation of these issues and shall, with the President and Sponsor, make appointments and present the issues and suggestions for solutions as needed.

Secretary: The Secretary shall also maintain the records and minutes of meetings of the Executive Council and the organization as a whole.
