If you'll be attending MTSU in the fall semester, for your convenience we have scheduled several different dates throughout the summer. The choice of the sessions is yours, but to receive the maximum benefits it is imperative that you attend the entire session. You cannot just come for scheduling; nor can you receive your class schedule before the assigned time. Reservations will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to register as early as possible.

If you'll be attending MTSU in the spring semester, the CUSTOMS is a condensed version of our summer program and will only be one day. The date for Spring 2010 students is December 5, 2009.

FRESHMAN SESSIONS
Freshman CUSTOMS Orientation sessions are over for the summer. To register for fall courses, you may do Freshman CUSTOMS Online at www.mtsu.edu/~customs/online . Academic Advising is REQUIRED for all new students. At the end of Freshman CUSTOMS Online, you will complete a short survey of the online tutorial and be linked to make an appointment with an academic advisor. Once the required advising is complete, the advisor will set a registration time for you via RaiderNet.

TRANSFER STUDENT SESSIONS
Upon admittance to the university, transfer students may do Transfer Online Orientation at www.mtsu.edu/transferonline and contact their advisor to be advised on course selection. When these steps have been completed their advisor will clear them to register for fall classes. Transfer students do not participate in the oncampus CUSTOMS orientation.
