The dance program is housed in the Department of Speech and Theatre within the College of Liberal Arts. To receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre, with an emphasis in Dance, students will need to complete 70 hours within the Theatre and Dance Department, as well as the University's general education requirements. Students may also obtain a minor in dance. Students who wish to minor in Dance must take 18 hours of dance course work. The undergraduate curriculum in dance consists of 24 Theatre credits, 28 Dance credits, cognate electives and guided theatre electives.

There is no audition for admission to the dance program. However, please note that the dance cognate requires minimum technical standards. Technique classes currently offered are ballet, modern, jazz and tap.
