Advantages for Students

1. Students are guaranteed acceptance to MTSU rather than to a particular college of major. Admission to a major requires following the requirements designated by that major.
2. Students can save money by enrolling for their first two years at MSCC with lower tuition and fees.
3. Students will become familiar with the MTSU staff and academic advisers which should facilitate the transition process.
4. Students will be able to view their entire degree plan at the onset of their college career.
5. Students will receive academic advising from both institutions including early advisement from MTSU.
6. Students will be able to register during the priority registration time period at MTSU the semester of graduation from MSCC.
