The Department's mission is to exercise and strengthen students' critical thinking skills and their writing skills, committed to preparing students to participate in the intellectual, cultural, and professional issues they will face once they graduate. Degrees in English increase opportunities for success in a constantly changing job market. We invite visitors to find out about the broad curriculum offered, as well as specifics about the Majors, Minors, and Graduate Program. Three Department offices are located in Peck Hall's third floor: Main Office, PH 301; Lower Division Office, PH 324; Upper Division Office, PH 323; Graduate Office, PH 316.
