Mohammed Albakry has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University and has joined the English department at MTSU in August 2005. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, stylistics, translation studies as well as grammar and language pedagogy.
