Dr. Warren Tormey

Dr. Tormey has taught in the English Department in various roles since 1995. He became an Assistant Professor in 2004 and earned his doctorate in 2008. A scholar of Medieval and Early Renaissance Literature by training, he maintains interests in these fields as well as in Milton Studies, the epic tradition, economic history, scientific and technical history, ecocriticism, sports literature, popular culture, and technical writing. He serves the department primarily as an instructor of upper division composition courses.
