Brian Griffin to Read

Brian Griffin will read from his fiction on Thursday, April 22 in Dining Room C of the James Union Building at 4:00 p.m. Griffin earned his B.A. in English at Middle Tennessee State University and his M.F.A. at the University of Virginia, where he studied under Peter Taylor and George Garrett. His Sparkman in the Sky and Other Stories won the Mary McCarthy Prize for Short Fiction.

Brian now lives in Knoxville, where he is the Writer in Residence at the Hodges Library of the University of Tennessee.
